Based in Jacksonville, FL, he served as the Vice President of National Sheet Metal Company and National Insulation Company for 8 years. In 2007, he became the founder of Akool Distribution Co and KoolFab LLC a year later.
As a contractor, he was the first to embrace the product in the United States, recognizing its long term value. He became the earliest adopter of the Kingspan KoolDuct System, devoting over 18 years to developing and growing the phenolic foam duct market in the United States. He is considered to be one of the most knowledgeable professionals associated with the Kingspan KoolDuct System worldwide. He has been involved in over 200 projects and frequently serves as a consultant for the product when called upon.
John Ellington
With more than 30 years of manufacturing experience in automotive, construction, HVAC, and power industries, he has extensive knowledge contributing to quality control and management.
His almost 13 years hands on with the Kingspan KoolDuct System has pushed him to research the product inside and out, often communicating with customers to deliver quick and concise responses. Experience has led him to become an avid estimator along with building strong logistical skills.
